Including Early Learning Science across all of the academic domains helps early educators provide a well-balanced curriculum. With an increase in digital learning and a need to be intentional with hands on math and literacy aspects, educators are looking for interesting ways to continue to incorporate science and art into our daily learning.

Prep Work for Hands-On Activities:
  • You will need Adobe Acrobat (the FREE version works) to EDIT the alphabet/number cards.
  • Type the words and letters you want into the main vocabulary page.
  • Download and Print all items on paper or cardstock.
  • You can print black and white pages on colored paper for a printer-friendly option.
  • Laminate all the pieces and attach Velcro or magnets BEFORE you cut.
  • Then cut everything out and the Velcro dots or magnets are already attached and ready to go.
  • Use the cards on a magnet board so your students can see on camera.
  • To use in the classroom the cards can be added to centers, small group, and independent work tubs.
  • I print black and white pages or greyscale items on colored cardstock to save on colored ink but also give me the look I want in my classroom space.
